well i'd just joined that other expy site and foundout about this one and thought i should join here too

hello there guys! i was searching google and found this place and thought i'd join up.

i'm soon to be 22 i own my own auto detailing business. last summer i was able to basically steal my '98 expedition XLT 4x4 5.4. i bought it 8/2010 with 63k miles on her. now shes pushing 71k. it was owned by my grandpas company and only used in the last 5 years about once a month for people who come into town.

shes had seat covers since the day it left the dealer, along with husky liners so the interior is still in amazing shape! a real creme puff. along with new shocks, tires, brakes all around before i bought it for $2500...i told ya i stole it!

anyhow i have a few mods. lightning headlights, LED corners, HID head/fogs, K&N intake,chrome door handles, new studded firestone winterforce 265/70's, synthetic oil. but i just ordered new wheels for summer which should be in sometime next week.

thanks! i'm missing the expy right now. its in the bodyshop. a girl ran a stop sign and basically t-boned me in the pass side. whole new right rear door and QT panal along with the whole right side of the truck getting repainted. 2 weeks in the shop luckly my new wheels should be in by the time shes out and its almost time to put summer wheels/tires back on.

yep factory ford color, from what i understand semi rare. but there are alot of them around here localy 97/98 xlts.

Welcome, and nice Expedition you have. As far as the Excursion, I don't think they were named correctly. Personally, I think they should be named "Urban Assault Vehicle". Looks to me like you have all transportation bases covered!

born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska i couldnt live anywhere else..love it here

i took a road trip this last summer up to fairbanks with my old black 2000 excursion which was totaled in a 35mph headon crash in 10/2010 neat place to visit but i would never wanna live up there its so...boring lol

welcome to the forum... and in 63 days I land in Anchorage for a 15 day vacation...lol and I might not leave... going to visit my sister and do some King fishing on the Kenia... so now you made my count down to vaction even better...lol

Welcome and I have to say I'm a little jealous! I still have family in the Palmer/Wasilla area and the last time I was able to get up there was in '06. I can't wait till I get to go up again, the only bad part is leavin cause I never want to!

well, since its after midnight i should be getting my expy back today!!!!

they called yesterday, said it was in paint as we spoke. i'm going to go over it with a fine tooth comb and hopfully be taking it home to put her new wheels on! yahoo
