i have a 03 eddie bauer that has heated and cooled seats. My driver side works fine but for some reason the passenger side doesn't work, the button won't even light up... Any advice or common fixes for this problem? The girlfriend says its got to be fixed by winter haha

Where are the fuses at?

not weird at all each side is fused by both fuses but each side have their own control module.

can you read and understand wiring diagrams

check the connectors under the passenger seat to make sure they are secure. Have read reports that those connectors have come loose due to items being stored under the seat

If by chance you find a loose connection and it fixes the problem you can blame it on the girlfriend

ok. yeah i am going to get under there today and make sure everything is secured and clean. Hopefully that is the reason there is no power going to the passenger button

There was another post about heated seats on an 04 model and you did post there I also posted the wiring diagrams on that thread you should be able to copy them and they will help you as the prints I posted were from the 03 manual but the 04 is the same Keep us posted

If you look at the wiring diagram there is a ground connection for the Climate controlled
seat module, passenger side it is G201 and located behind the kick panel, RH side
Check to make sure it is a good solid connection
it is a black wire and should be connected to the sheet metal may be near the fuse block

Checked all connectors. Fuses. I found two black wires together grounded to the body right between the fuse box and door opening. Should I buy a new switch and see if it's the problem?

Neither one of mine worked on my 03 when I bought it in January. Long story short, had to have the modules (yes, there are 2) reset.
