I have a 2006 Ford Expedition. I just replaced the factory head unit with a JVC KW-AV60BT head unit and the factory subwoofer does not work. All the other speakers work fine. I am aware of the rear entertainment system incompatibility so I had a new (aftermarket) rear monitor installed. Someone please tell me this is not the same issue with the factory sub and what I should do to make it work. I really do not want to put much more money into this venture. I called JVC and they couldn't help. Thanks.

Did you use the correct harness to hook up the factory sub? I used the Scosche harness and my sub works fine on my '06. I'll see if I can find which one I got.

Scosche FDK11B. It comes with the main and subwoofer connectors. Just need to wire them into the new head unit. Does your new HU have a subwoofer out lead?

Thank you! Looks like I have the wrong harness. Yes it has the sub outputs.
