Help...Turn signal problems:

I need help fixing or figuring out this turn signal problem. My turn signal (left or right) will stop flashing while I wait to make my turn at an intersection. The green < or > indicator will stay on steady. It will work again after I put the turn signal handle to neutral but sometimes it takes awhile to work again. Light bulbs are okay. Could this be a flasher going bad or maybe an overheating flasher. Thank you.

Check all the fuses that the flasher uses. Tilt your steering wheel up and then try your flasher. If that doesnt work tilt it down and try again. check the connectors to were the light bulbs go to. I could be wrong but it sounds like you might need a new switch.
