OK last weekend I pulled a 140000 lb trailer with an JD tractor on it. The trail is a 20 foot with two 7000 lb axles.
Prior to the pull the 04 got 14.8 MPG a new K&N add 1 MPG more to that.
When I pulled the trailer at 60MPH I got 10 to 11 MPG.
When I came back with no trailer on the 04 got 22 MPG
I would say pulling the heck out of it help big time.
