So I've had my expedition for about a year now and am finally deciding to post it up. Its a 2000 ford expedition xlt 2wd. Bought it from the second owner who bought it from his neighbor. It had only 155,000 miles on it the time i had got it. Previous owners kept a folder filled with maintenance from day 1! Things i have done to it since i bought it. Spark plugs replaced. Fixed the odometer. Fixed the overhead console. Replaced the rear brake pads. Replaced the diff fluid. Replaced the front sway bar bushings with energy suspension. plastidipped the front, side moldings, and rear bumper. Also installed a tow hitch. Now It has about 169,000 and the rear pinion seal is starting to leak, so i am going to fix that asap. Do you think I should replace the serpentine belt, water pump, thermostat? I also need to replace both upper control arms with the ball joints and both lower ball joints and the rear. Oh and also get the windshield re-sealed.

Depending on severity...

After you experience rough idle or other goofy things after a heavy rain, I would reseal the windshield. If not, then do the control arms.

The belt, pump and thermostat will last much longer than issues stated above..
