HID problems...

RIDDLE ME THIS...every since i connected the HIDs my vehicle has made a tone sound and all gauges on the instrument cluster and the radio goes out...truck still running and i'm driving...has this happened to you? i keep my headlights on the auto selector so i dont have to worry about turning them on and off...but it doesnt matter how i have my headlight...when they come on this happens...what is shorting out? i look at my connections and all are connected correctly...positive to positive and negative to negative...or the lights wouldnt work...

Try unhooking one at a time to narrow the problem then switch sides to find out which part is causing the problem

i installed Xentec...i do notice twinkling at night when i'm up against the wall...

are the ballasts digital or analog? the analogs are known to cause those types of problems on some vehicles

didnt know they had digital ballast...they are hooked up correctly...if my headlights turn on upon start up its fine

ok so i hooked up my fog HID lights...what a pain...didnt have it on a lift nor could i get both of my hands where i needed them to hook everything up....got it done though...they work like a charm and i love the new look on top of the new light output...im seeing everything earlier than before...so i havent experienced my light problem again yet...hopefully it worked out...if not i'll disassemble and reassemble the headlights next week before road trip to michigan for thanksgiving...

went back with the OEMs...the black Spyder halo/LED/HID equip'd suppose to arrive tomorrow...

sorry bout the no pics...been working 12 hrs shifts...received my black halo/LED/HID headlights...one of the high beam housing is loose so i'm trying to put this clip back on w/o opening it up (son helping with his small fingers)...i have some pics of the head/fog 6000k HIDs...i'll add when i post the fade to black pics...

if anyone remembers my problem from before...every since i hook up the fog lights...no problems....WEIRD!!! so what does that mean
