Recently my dad passed away and I have his 98 Expy. Skipping alot of details, I need to get an etching of the VIN on to paper so I can get the title transferred into my name. One of my sisters has the original title which is in my dads name but she is not being very helpful. There is not enough room between the windshield and the dash to get an etching there. So I need to locate the one under the vehicle. I think it is on the frame but I am not too sure exactly where on the frame. Any help is appreciated.

It's usually also printed on the sticker found on the door, or door jam. That is, if it's still there.
