Hikari LED bulbs recall

I got a recall notification from Amazon yesterday regarding my Hikari LED fog lights. If you have them installed in your Expy, you might want check out the recall notification below.

That’s why i quit using them 2 years ago. For other reasons obviously but I use auxito, zdatt or JKCOVER (sadly they went out of business). Auxito is great because of their 1:1 design and they have no radio static interference. Zdatt is good because they have built in decoders and have changeable color filters but are bigger than the factory bulbs

But us in the car community could also buy super bright leds now at a low price unless amazon stops selling them

I received a similar recall notification recently from Diode Dynamics for some SL 1 led bulbs I purchased for my son’s Focus ST.
I passed the letter on to my son, but based on a quick read my take was that the NHTSA has cracked down on retrofit led bulb sales.
