Hitch Cover?

Will a 2nd gen hitch cover fit on a 3rd gen. 3d carbon and street scene both make one but they both say it will only work with their rear lip which Im not getting. The 2nd gen works with the factory bumper........

Actually yeah so I can ask you. How do you think it will fit without the the lip?

I don't think it would look right at all. First I think the whole on your bumper is larger than the 3d carbon hitch cover. 2nd if you did get it to bolt on it would just be sticking down from no where and you could still see rear bar of the hitch. But all this is just going from what I can remember the rear of yours looks.

I too have been wondering about these. I will probably never pull anything with my truck and thought it would be cool to have.
