Did the 3rd gen, specifically 2013 have a cover? It looks kind of crude showing a hitch plus you can see the spare tire.

For my ‘22 Limited, I wanted to modify mine so that i could still use the cover every with a hitch and cable installed. Got the unpainted (black) from my dealer and found a really close matching paint at PepBoys. After i cut out the openings for the hitch mount, wiring and chains, i primed and painted it. I now leave it installed with a WeatherTech hitch bumper step locked into the receiver.. I’m happy with it!

The actual color of the tow hitch cover and bumper is locus silver and when I had to replace mine they did a little digging but you could get it just primed or painted already.

I have two sitting in my garage. I was going to cut one to fit around the bike rack that pretty much lives on the back but then I realized how much of a pain it is to get to the hitch pin I said forget it. I probably haven't had a cover on in 4-5 years. Unfortunately, mine look like a lighter silver color and not the darker color.

Sorry the surfaces are super dirty from our recent snow.
Your premium hitch step is expensive (to me). It's over 100 bucks, I think. I got mine from Habor Freight for 30 bucks.
