How does this oil dipstick look?

Does this look to be a quart low but clean?

To me it looks just shy of a quart low and yeah that does look clean. Once you are at the lower hole then it will be 1 quart low.

Okay thanks for the info. When full will the oil line be to the top hole or lower?

The 'operating range' is anything inside of the criss-crossed lines, between the two holes.

You really need to worry if you pull out the stick and there is no oil on it Keep it between the two holes and close to the top hole. I always carry a quart or two with me and find if I need to top it off I can. On my expy I can keep the spares under the hood in convenient hiding places

Exactly what he said and keep it closer to the upper hole.
