Just bought a 1999 Expedition, E.B. crawled under her to grease the front end and found that I have no zerks......and yes, the end links are broken, going to fix that in a few minute's, but how do you lub the ball joints, tie rod ends etc.?:flame:

Yes, when Ford made these trucks, they put no zirc fittings in the front end. This was part of the "for life" designing that went into the truck. Now, most of us see the "humor" in this and quickly replace these parts with something that we can grease. But, unfortunately, even going this route, unless you are buying an aftermarket upper control arm, you are still stuck with a greaseless upper ball joint.

Be careful what you wish for in a lower maintenance vehicle, you end up with things like this. I am thankful that I have greaseable control arms in the rear of my truck now. That was one of the nice things about the Rancho lift kit.
