How to Swap a rear Door

One of my rear doors had rust on the lower seam. I found a rust free door and have it in hand. Is it best to replace at door hinge side or at Body hinge side?

It's probably better to leave the hinges on the door. Be prepared to spend a bit of time lining everything up. You may have to tweak it a few times to get all the shut lines even. You'll also want to have a friend or two around to lend a hand.

Of course, I swapped out the liftgate by myself, so anything is possible when you have no choice.
