where did you get the hood? i have been looking for one for the expy but all the ones i find for the truck are 650 including shipping!

I stole the hood lol.... no really I got it on ebay was listed as a F150 hood but same hood for expy paid 165 for hood and 15 bucks shipping... yes that is correct 15 bucks for shipping a 105lb box....

Dgray yeah i've seen them driving around and around in the winter wonderland.... lol just need spring to get here planning on getting truck in shop end of march... gonna be a 3 day project because we have to blend the hood with the front fenders.... prob gonna put lights in as soon as i get a nice dry day... need to wire in the R8 led lights.... but just need rims ordered probally gonna order them first or second week in March Dick Cepek DC-2 in a 16x10... then only other plans for this spring include a line of fire and then gonna change the exhaust tails to exit behind each tire to a 3.5" diameter 22" long stainless tips.... then i don't know what else.... running out of stuff to do besides major stuff like 4.88s or a SAS

That hood looks great! I've been looking for a cowl hood too. But from now on I'm trying to slim Betsy down a bit, and a 105 lb hood would be sorta counter-productive. Too bad there aren't any cheap fiberglass ones. And those head lights look sick too! What color are you planning on painting your truck?

truck will remain same color hood just needs to match and blend the fenders to match since all the metallic in the paint it would be noticeable on the hood if fenders dont get blended.....

I would never buy fiberglass they tend to "spiderweb" and wont look nearly as good as steel....

and the boxes it was in were like 50 lbs of the box hood doesn't way much different than the stock one...

Outkast you get your lights yet? I still need to wire mine in and install them... the corners are plug and play but the led ones under light bulb just have a red and black wire... obviously hot and ground just need to figure out were to tap into....

If you have DRLs I'd say tap into those. Otherwise, perhaps splice them in to the marker lights so they come on with park lights?

i was thinking with parking lights... they didn't come with directions... but that will probally be the easiest way

The ol' lady said they came today..I saw a youtube thing for those projector lights, and they have the same switch....that guy wired them to come on with the parking lights, just depends what you wanna do with them...I was thinking of having them on with the key....just like the audi's

well i am def gonna have to look more for the hood. that was a hell of a deal you got. i have black lightning headlights on mine. dont have the led that you guys have but they look sharp on my black truck.

I originally had reg lightning headlights.... then I put in my black turns... then was going to order the black svts but found these and well yeah bought them asap... lol but i want to install them but massive snow strom today and tomorrow so they will wait.... but at least my orginal SVTs will still be on the forum on a different expy.... LOL

For hood and other good deals when I search ebay look for 97 F150... a lot of parts interchange and people that really have no clue only list what the box says...

my suggestion is to check your lights asap...3 leds didnt work in the drivers side and 1 on the pass. plus it was hazy and kinda cheap lookin...I contacted the seller, and am getting an exchange.....

Love those lights... I was looking at those on ebay and thinking about getting me a set also! Would love to have one of those hood also. Have a Fiberglass one my Xtreme for 8 years and love it.. Anyway great addition and I cant wait to some for myself.
