It seems that nobody makes a vehicle that doesn't have at least one problem.
We've had a lot of rain here lately, a few days ago my daughter wanted to ride in the 3rd row, I flipped the driver side 2nd row seat forward and there was about 1/2" of water in the recesses underneath the floor latches for the seat. I felt around under the carpet around the latches and felt no moisture in the carpet or padding. I sopped up the water, and the truck sat for the weekend while it rained.. When I left for work Monday morning I checked, it was dry back there.. I drove it for two days in the rain, checked again, and the water is back. I feel no dampness anywhere in the carpet, but the recesses under the latches are full of water again.
My truck is a 2016 XLT with 6x,*** miles and no moonroof, I bought it used in November. I'm stumped as to how water gets to those locations without the carpet or padding being wet.. unless it's coming up through the floor when driving in the rain.
