Idle & tranny

I own a 2002, 5.4, automatic with about 90000 miles on it.
Sometimes when stopped the idle goes up at abour 1,200 RPM, and after that the transmission won't shift. It stays in 1st gear, unless I put it on 2 instead of letting it in Drive position. I checked the oil level in transmission, and it's good.
Besides that my truck run's great and I love it.

might want to change the tranny fluid on it

I get a TP code, like the TPS is not matching the MAS reading... something like that
