Just got finished with 2200 mile road trip with my 01 expy now holding 263K miles had a best MPG of 16.8 and a worst of 12.6 (not bad for almost 300K). I lost 2 ignition coils in the process though lucky for me it was #5 and #7 seperate times but not bad to replace. Questions i have though while i was in MI i went ahead and replaced drivers side plugs didnt wanna tackle passenger side till i got back to GA warmer weather. Any tips on tackling the passenger spark plugs? also i tested the two COP i removed and they both tested out ok so im thinking they might still be good and i was getting condensation moisture causing a misifre? ( as far as i know the truck has never seen cold weather like michigan and indiana have appears to have always been a southern florida truck) Other than that i thought maybe the oily residue on the coil boots was the problem, couldnt determine if its oil or coolant.

You'll need several extensions and swivels to get the back two. Slow & methodical is the process. if you have the rear heater core lines, gently move them out of the way as you guide your apparatus so you'll avoid the coolant loss/spill on those back two plugs as well. for the back one, i inserted the socket and medium length extension, then attached the swivel, then the longer extension to the ratchet.

as you've probably read, ensure your proper torque on these plugs & DO NOT over-tighten as there aren't many (3 max) threads to hold the plugs in.

ok I`ll give it a shot this weekend I think. Also the reason I purchased this particular expedition, the previous owner claims to have had the cylinder head work done in the time he owned it. however I have no receipt to prove this. What is the torque spec for the plugs?
