I have a 2003 Expedition and recently we had been having problems with 1 or 2 of the CD not playing (CD ERROR). I wouldn't matter which slot it was in - it was just random.

Now I can't get any of them to play it just keeps saying CD ERROR and when I try to eject one of them, it also give me the same error.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

Does the little slot in the front open? Mine did that when I first bought it, so when the slot opened I used a really thin flat head crew driver and some bottle nose pliers and just grabbed the disk itself. That's how I got it out at least. Can you hear the motor going in the background trying to push the disk out?

this happened to me. i read on a forum to disconnect the vehicle's battery and let the radio reset (maybe for 5 minutes). reconnect the battery and try the cd. it worked for me. good luck.
