Info display randomly flipping from night/day/dim, etc

Has anyone had issue with the info display screen toggling between night, Day and dim?

Mine does it a bit more than I’d like but usually it’s caused by shadows/tunnels or changing light conditions. Like you’d expect, just a bit too sensitive.

Same here - anyone know where the light sensor is? On some newer BMWs the sensor is in the gauge cluster, so window tint makes them go crazy... ask me how I know.

Light sensor is top center dashboard toward the base of the windshield.
