I'm no electrical engineer, so much of he wire placement seems counterintuitive, let alone just plain wasteful. It's as if each of the four corners were engineered and wired separately without any knowledge of the other corners, then when they realized it, they spliced and double wired things togehter to get it all to work, and of course later fail!!!
