Can TPMS be installed in a 2016 Expedition that does not have the option from the factory? Basically is the circuitry in the truck?

Torque pro app can read the info from the vehicle. Just need an OBD dongle.

Please elaborate, I don’t understand your answer, is the capability in the truck or does it require a modification, thanks.

The truck already has the capability. Install the Torque Pro Android/iOS app and an ELM327 adapter (available from Amazon).

I checked the truck DIC and there is no selection for TPMS under Gauges, which is where it is supposed to be, so I would need to go aftermarket as you have suggested.

You are correct. There's no option for it in the gauges, but the vehicle has the info. I don't know why Ford didn't provide an option to display it in the cluster.

It's there in the info, read post # 4. I don't know why anybody would want it but if you don't have it there would be a light and text on your cluster.

I disabled mine permanently with forscan. The batteries are dead in one of the wheel sensors and I got tired of the warning indicator and DIC message.

My 16' Platinum only has the idiot light for tire pressure. It does not have the option to view tire pressures in the display. That is retarded for a $65,000 vehicle. This option has been around for a long time on much less expensive vehicles. While I am complaining, also no radio controls on the back of the steering wheel. Other than that so far so good! :)
