This is how State Farm characterizes my "truck". I've always called it my truck, but I guess I am just trying to cover up the fact that I drive a "Sport Wagon". The text below is straight off of my insurance card.

All I can say is if it were considered a truck here in PA you would pay more for registration so being its not a truck you pay less

Friend has a F150 and pays over $50.00 where I pay $36.00

I think my registration was a tad over $200 this year. At least part of it is tax deductible.

A little over $200 sounds about right. I know when I had my 2010 F-150, CA registration was about equivalent to one monthly payment on the truck. If I remember correctly a little over or under $600 :pp:

yep mines about $200 a year. My friends f-450 is considered a commercial vehicle. He pays over $1000 a year.

I work for National Car Rental in Salt Lake City Utah and our Insurance calls our Chevrolet Suburbans as Pickup trucks when its a Full size SUV.
