On my '14 Limited, I noticed that at night when the door panels are backlit (headlights on), the power fold mirror control and the window lock switch are not backlit. Looking at the mirror control, it looks more "solid" than the others and the lettering not clear allowing light to pass. So I think those should not be lit. But the lettering on the window lock switch looks like all the others, like it should be backlit.

On yours, are either of these switches/controls backlit? And are you sure? From memory, I would have sworn they all lit, but sure enough, these two don't. Here's a pic to see what I mean.

Thanks

I noticed tonight that the dash dimming wheel isn't backlit either, but I'm guessing that isn't supposed to be. Anyone else, can you compare my driver's door lighting to yours on a late model Expedition?

Thanks.

prob not backlight under the assumption that your setting are already complete and no need to alter at night...look up JTKustoms...he did an upgrade where he installed LEDs in and lit up everything pretty nice...if you want it lit it may be possible to do what he did so they show...hopefully someone with a late model is able to verify for you..g/l

You're talking about the dimming switch right? I would agree on that. Just looking for confirmation on those two switches though. Thanks.
