Interior Light help

hi i own a 99 expedition and just today the interior lights wont shut off thinks a door is open i guess all doors are closed i dont want my battery to die is there anyway to shut them off? thanks

Try spraying all the door latches with wd40.

remove the door ajar switch, chuck the pin in a cordless drill and spray with lube while spinning and working pin in and out with drill.

only problem is that you have 7 of these and don't know which one is the problem

X2 on the wd40 or similiar in latch in hole right under the lower catch. then open and close the door several times. watch the lights, if it works then you will know which door it was.

Thinking outside the box here but ...... make sure your dimmer switch isnt turned all the way up past the detent.
