Hi, I recently purchased a 98 expedition for a smokin' deal and had a few questions about the interior.
The last bench. It seats five at the moment but I would like to add a third row. I was wondering what's involved in adding one in. I looked for bolt holes under the liner in the back and there doesn't appear to be any anchor points back there for the additional seating. The floor seems to be much higher in the back too.
If I have to modify my expedition to add a third row by drilling holes in her than I may as well just shoot myself in the balls because I bought this truck under the belief that it could be dropped in. I understand there's a bit of wrenching but if some one tells me to drill my floor pan I'm going to be choked.
Lastly, where can I pick up all this stuff? A interior costs about $2000 here wich I personaly feel is a tad rediculous. I need all the seats and the rug. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys
Oh one last thing! is it normal for the steering to be really really responsive? I swear the power steering is so sensitive that any light input into the wheel goes a long way. I always thought that rack and pinion got stiff as it aged.
