iPod not working

I have a 2009 with USB in center console. The iPod has worked for over a year and all the sudden stopped. I changed USB cables and reset the iPod. When I plug the ipod in, the Ford symbol comes on iPod screen and the number of songs on iPod comes on truck screen, but nothing will play. The iPod works fine by itself and with other systems. Please help!

The center console usb is very picky for some reason. I have to plug/unplug mine multiple times every now and then. It will work for a few months - and then have to do it all over again. I have tried multiple different ipods, it seems to just be picky on how it connects. Mine just recently has started to not resume playing every time I start the truck. It has become very irritating to have to talk to my truck every morning to get music playing. Good luck, but try it a few times and it should pick it up eventually.
