I found a good deal on a set of trail grapplers (295/70/18) but someone told me not to put them on anything wider than a 9" rim. Is this true?
Is a 295/70 tire to small for a 9.5" rim?

According to Nitto's site here a 305/70R18 could fit on an 8 to 10 inch rim... so I would say 295/70/18 would fit fine on a 9.5.

i think it will be fine that tire is just over 11" wide i would do it
