Is the 12v accessory port always on?

I hardwired an aftermarket radio into the 12v port wire, and it seems to be always on.. for the past 20 minutes, even when the car is off. Is that by design? 2010 Expy SSV.

Yes.

All of the accessory ports in my '99 EB 5.4 are always hot. Easy to check with the pilot light on a phone charger adapter...

For my 2009 the answer is YES. 2010 should be the same.

On my previous Expy, a 2010 = Yes, and an electric cooler will drain your battery overnight.
