A hail storm led me to update my 2021 Expedition Max Ltd for a 2026 Expedition Max Platinum, and now I just need to hear it from a real person: Are these two REALLY the same exterior length?
A Google search assures me that they're the same length.
But whereas I could (just barely) tease my 2021 Max Ltd into my humble garage with a mere 0.5" clearance to spare, no amount of wiggling seems to be enough to get the 2026 Max Plat in there such that the garage door can close. Apparently by a good 2".
And I'm going nuts reconciling what the internet is telling me versus my own inability to make the 2026 fit like the 2021 did.
What am I missing?
