I love the color of your "stang". You ever take it out to the track and run it?

Love to try that

its the 94 Cobra with a few 'extras'

K&N Mass air flow filter system
Short balanced headers
flowmaster free floe exhaust
Basani X pipe and rear mufflers
Cross drilled and grooved rotors
Competition leads
3.53 rear diff gears.

Should give 12.5 standing 1/4's

I am also in the mid 12's. Damn it would be a good race. My main problem is traction. I can't get to hook up with DOT tires. I am running Hoosiers now and they don't hook up. I guess a heavy car with a big block and 4.11 gears is meant to run on slicks, but this is no race car, just a weekend cruiser.

try yokohamas

Mine too pat. I drive it every day to work !

Love to try the track.

I use Yokohama A510's and find them prety good, but they don't last long !!

BF Goodrich drag radials are a good all around tire. I think my car hooks up better at the track because of the amount of rubber already down on the ground.

I had a '68 hardtop with a stout small block, traction problems too. They make an anti hop mod that moves the upper control arms a few inches off of the top of the chunk - thye seemed to work very well. Gives the control arms more leverage to stop that annoying hop the 'Velles and 'Bus were famous for.

My Expeditions

I am new to the site so I guess I'll start off by placing my pics here. Here is a picture of my 1999 Wedgewood blue XLT that I leased. While leasing this vehicle, I fell in love with it and wanted to customize it badly. I didn't because it was a leased vehicle so, I returned it to the dealership.

Mustang

I'm a big Mustang buff myself. Here is my 89 GT that I sold a couple of months ago. I kept it for a little over seven years and dubbed it the best car that I have owned to date. I spent money modifying it over the years and never took it to the track. I think I'll always regret not doing that.
