How hard is it to subtract numbers guys? Really, you probably all have a calculator on your cell phone..... If you can't do simple math, then you sure shouldn't be making major purchases like this.

Why wouldn’t you snap a quick picture to show how the deal was structured? Forums like this are created to discuss and help folks with a common hobby etc. seems weird you don’t want to help.

I'll move this to the bottom for you...

Dealer offered me $4,500 for my 2005 Dodge Magnum RT with 87k on it. I said no thanks, and I sold my car outright myself 2 days later for $9,000. So In reality I should consider this another $4,500 to the good minus the $247.50 in extra sales tax it cost me. I could look back at all my papers, but I bought a 18 Limited 302A, 4x4, tow pac, Led lights, 360 cam, rear buckets, platinum white, for $16k under the window sticker list price. In the end that's over $20K less than it would of cost me to order a 19 and pay list price and take the bath on trading my car. Oh, I paid $75 for an online car ad, so you can deduct that too! I just found the best prices I could online and took the price to my local dealer and told them if they can get close to this that I'll buy it from them. 2 days later they located my vehicle out of state and dealer traded it and Brought it home for me and I wrote them a check and drove it home!

Usually the Dealer makes more on your trade than they do on the new unit. I rarely trade anything unless its value is too high to make it realistic to have someone buy it outright from me.

New guy here. Been a member of the Explorerforum.com for 8 years. I just traded '12 Explorer Limited (156k miles) last week on a '19 Platinum 4x4 standard length. MSRP of $82415, dealer discount to $76000 (advertised), RCC of $2250, FMC bonus cash of $1250, PCO for $3000 on Expeditions only. Bottom line was $69500 with $7500 on my trade. It also had extra tinting installed so about $13k below sticker. I was a mid July build date. No negotiating, felt good with the deal. Made up my mind to not wait for 2020 Expedition / Navigator.

Just thought I would add to the discussion. I had always liked ordering the newest model, but this one was the configuration I wanted and was a color that I liked. The deal was the best financially also. Had to get a small FMC loan to get the rebate, otherwise paid cash and will payoff the loan on the first couple of payments.

He spins it like a top.
It is entertaining though.

He has been given many opportunities to post the BOS, but that would reveal the BS.

DM, no one is questioning flying’s character. We are questioning yours, and for me, I’m enjoying the spin..

He got a great deal. I'm going to guess nearly $2k under invoice on a shorty with every box checked. He's itemized all other incentives. Where did you find another $4k on a truck that's not worth as much?

Its sad and telling watching “The Legend” reveal his true character, but there is no point in trying to get a BOS that doesn’t exist. I think he’s still driving that 18 year old hooptie while window shopping something he doesn’t own.
