Just ordered my 2023 Expedition Limited

Just placed my order last Monday for my 2023 Expedition Limited with the Stealth Performance Package, upgraded Sync 4A screen and heavy duty trailering package!! So excited. Any insight as to how long it may take from the factory? I've heard anywhere from 3 weeks to 10 weeks to 6 months.....

Congrats! When you'll get it is very uncertain, kind of like ripping labels off cans: It could be Tomatos it could be potatoes, it could be 4 months it could be 2 Years.

What did the vehicle salesperson tell you regarding how much time until you receive the vehicle?

I received the order confirmation email the next day. I didn't work with a sales person, I worked with the business manager / finance manager directly as I was a referral from another dealership Plus I qualify for X Plan---they didn't know how long it would take. He also didn't know if the X Plan would somehow expedite the order

You're looking at probably 4-6 months.
Mine took roughly 9 months, but I believe things are moving slightly faster now.

Not sure what has happened since, but I ordered mine 9/16, and got an email a week or two ago telling me it is scheduled for production the week of November 28. Not sure that will happen, or if all the parts will be there, but I am hopeful. Limited with SPP, HD tow, CCD, eLSD, Sync 4A.

I'd plan on 6-9 months if its anything like the last year has been. Most have just bought them off dealer lots, because the dealers have some, yet the loyal guy that placed an order gets shuffled back. annoying

I tried that. Spend months looking at the Ford site for one, never found one within 500 miles of me (July/Aug/Sept) with the configuration I wanted that was not sold before it arrived. We will see how 2023 goes. When they start arriving in the dealer lots perhaps there will be one for me.

I have the same specs on my order +second row bench. Ordered 9/6 and scheduled for your same week, Nov28. Hopefully it holds

Mine is gonna be black. My wife was lobbying for a lighter color and it was originally ordered in blue, but with all the black trim this just looks better to me in black, and it is going to be my car. The dealer made the change to the order for me, and I will just have to explain it must have been an error when it gets here.

I was told about 4-6 months when I ordered my Platinum. Order was confirmed 8/24/22, and since then have received 3 email updates with projected build dates: first 11/28, then 12/12, and now 12/5.

Still waiting for my 2022. It’s been 8 months here. Has been built since August, just waiting to be shipped. Can’t say it’s moving much faster. At least in my experience.

I just ordered a 2023 Limited Stealth (not SPP), Max tow, eLSD, CCD on Saturday 2/10/23. I got the order confirmation the same day. Dealer said probably 3 months, but don't be surprised by 4. Fingers crossed he's right.
Also, during the order, it said I'm losing the one-touch down window feature on the rear windows.

Just picked up mine and lost the auto one touch rear windows and hands free lift gate. Windows not an issue but used the lift gate feature on my past trucks all the time when trying to open the lift gate whilst trying to get 3 large dogs in the back! Credited $150 off original build price.

After about 4 1/2 months, I was blessed with my Expedition!! Had it almost a month now and absolutely LOVE it.
