Just Purchased My First Expedtion

Well she came in. Haven't got a chance to get a tune up yet but she drives very good and shifts very smoothly. The only things i have noticed that were wrong is the windshield wiper fluid does not come out when I press the lever even though it makes the noise like its trying to and the horn doesn't work. I am not sure if this is common or not.

horn: check that there isn't a broken wire on the actual horn.. blown fuse etc..

no washer fluid. remove the hose from the pump and try again. if fluid comes from the pump inspect the lines for a kink or obvious clog..

Welcome and great buy. I bought mine 98 last may and love it. So far I only had to replace the pvc elbow.
