I bought the above mount for my 2015 Expedition EL in hopes it would fit. It's designed for a 2014 F150 but with minor mods, fits my EL nicely. You will need to slot the hole in the mount for the factory fender bolt. You will also need to install a washer between the fender lip and the frame before reinstalling the factory bolt to give a solid foundation for the mount. The slight gap between the lip and frame gives too much flex. Fit several times before install as you will need to slightly bend the mount for fitment and to keep the hood from hitting. I installed two self-tappers with Loc Tite for some extra support but if you take your time to make the mount fit perfectly, you wont need them. I could have got away without installing the self-tappers but I like the little extra 'oomph'. Parts used were the above mount, a Firewire 9' cable and a 3' Firestick. I didn't even tune the antenna and got an SWR in the middle bands of 1.0-1.3. I'm not going to mess with it.
