Key fob thing!

So when I bought my 2006 Expy last week it didn't have a key fob. Going through the truck there was a new one (in a bag) hiding in the owners manual. It doesnt work. Anyone know what I have to do and how expensive it will be to do it? Does it just need a battery?

Yes, chances are that since it was still in with the owners manual, it was never used and that battery died over time from always sitting in the truck (hot cold hot cold). It uses a small watch type battery. You can open it by sticking a screwdriver into the space between the 2 halves and gently prying. Usually it works best if you try the area near the "ring" where it attaches to your key ring.
