Key pad

I know this has been discussed somewhere on this forum before, but I have a 99 Expedition EB with the key pad on the door. I called Ford to see how I could get the code for the keypad but they said it would cost me 40 bucks. I read a thread here where someone stated where the code was on the interior of the vehicle. Ive looked everywhere near the fuse panel and cant seem to locate it. PLEASE HELP!

look under the dash...but behind your parking brake pedal. you should see a black box with a big white sticker. on that big sticker should be 5 really big numbers...that's your factory code.

If you don;t find it there, don't fret. Just pay the $$.

I could never find it on my Excursion. Aned I looked everywhere on it!

It is also not printed anywhere on my 03 Expy.

Get it working. It is well worth the $40.
