I am running 93 octane and am getting a spark knock...have not changed my program settings...tried different gas of the same octane...no CEL...could I have a bad knock sensor? anyone replace one of these??

Baker i believe the knock sensor is under the intake manifold so that should explain how involved changing it is. Have you been running the 93 oct tune the whole time and has recently started this? If so i would say replace it.

Yeah....its really weird....I have changed anything in the tune....shit I leave things alone when im averaging 21.4 mpg....and have the pony's under my foot....I was buying my gas at one particular station because they claimed they had pure gas...after a fill up I noticed the knock...so i figured maybe it was just a tank that was no good...second tank from the same place...same problem...then I tried different brands....but they all contain 10% ethanol....and same thing....the only brand I have found that its not as bad is the V-power shell....I thought these had two knock sensors on on each side? No check engine light...its just under hard acceleration..1/2 way or better...I just cleaned my K&N air filter after 13K and was surprised that it was not real bad...I noticed two my engine temp and my cold air intake temps were up...but since i cleaned the filter everything is normal...except the knock....and dont want to blow a plug...

Could be a cop issue and i have heard that an inop egr can cause knock or ping! Just have to drive the piss out of it till it throws a code!
