Largest tire that will fit in the spare tire well?

How large of a tire can we fit in the spare tire well underneath the vehicle? I've got 33" (275-60R20) and would like to go bigger with my next set of tires. But i'd like to keep an equally-sized spare in the stock location under the vehicle. Thanks!

With a big enough Hammer you can make anything said I've heard of people getting 35 inch tires underneath

I don’t know if the design is different across the years, but I have a 285/75R18 (35x11.50-18) stuffed nicely in my spare tire well. No hammer required.
