I'm looking to start replacing some of these piss yellow lights on the expedition. Once I'm back around it I can look at which ones I can change to led. Can someone point me to a good place to get the bulbs that aren't too bright to get reverse camera washout

Thanks I'll have to look into those. I was looking at the diode dynamics ones as I have a pair in my f150 and been working great for 2.5 years. That pic you put looks real good I may have to get those. I don't know what kind of spread the dd would have

I use these. They've worked pretty good for me. Clean looking with great output for the 5-0 to get your #.

I'd seen those but wasn't sure if it'd be to bright and give the reverse camera washout

Been there, done this, a long time ago, but I got mine from da Zon, not only for the license plate area but also for the map lights above the front seats....both of which took the exact same bulb (5500K lumens). They have been shining bright for over 3 years now, nottaproblemo...:D

What year is yours. I thought mine were led. But honestly I haven't really looked. My f150 is led maybe that's what I'm thinking of.

2011 EL Limited, which had the old style halogens, and while they worked fine, they were just so old and yellowed, I did not hesitate to change them to LED's like I did with all the other bulbs....after which they were actually useful as "map" lights..

Ah got ya. I had a 14 ram truck it was all halogen. 1st thing I did was put led in all interior lights. Completely different and a game changer.
