One is a little brighter so they are sending another. We swapped out a set of the visionx 360 multi leds we weren't happy with the output. These suckers throw some light20130719_220009_zpsdff8226e.jpg

Those look sweet. I have been looking for a way to increase reverse light output for backing up to trailers, etc. You find those online?

The optics in the tail lights make it difficult to get good output on the ground from stock or LEDs.

The Cree projector ones are bright to look at if you're within the beam. At least ones posted have the smaller 360 LEDs to provide fill. Mine was just an aluminum body all the way down.

I got these, but got the ones for the tail and not the backup. They don't blink with the turn signal. Is there a way to make them work or am I stuck with them?

I picked up a set today for my reverse lights. Hopefully they'll brighten up the back area for me.

How many sets of contacts did they have?

Do they come on when stepping on the brakes? When having your running/headlights on?

Yea they turn on with the headlights not sure about the breaks. I don't think so though. I know they don't blink. I did order some 7w projector type LEDs that should fit my 921 back up bulbs. I think I'm just going to send these back to Amazon.

Yea, it sounds like you got the single filament equivalents. The dual filament equivalents will dim the LED when in running light mode, and run full brightness when brakes (or turn signals) are engaged.

If they were sold by Amazon, they shouldn't give you too much trouble.

I have my 3156 led bulbs installed last week. The only problem I've had was them falling out of the socket a couple times. I just put a small dab of silicone on them and problem solved. They are bright, and look cool
