OK so I am the first to admit that electronics are not my thing. I am fairly good with the mechanics of my truck, but when it comes to the LED's slowly burning out from behind my dash I am of no use. I am curious if it would be difficult for an amateur to replace these, or if I am better off going a different route. Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance!

i can speak from experience that there are no leds in the 98 expedition i changed all mine over the hard way by finding positive and negative leads the solder my own in (note that white ones make blue as well as blue ones) i assume that this is caused by the light defueser in the cluster but i like blue so it works out. the above link is good to look at as well verry good write up. side note i only did mine cause half were out and figured why not leds last a lot longer
