Who made the swim gate rear bumper?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

The swing gate set up is from Tomkin. It's for an CJ. The bumper is 2x4 steel.

The whole set up actually came off an XJ. Got it off Facebook market place for $100. Just a bit of grindinf and welding and it worked.

No prob, but I posted the majority of the pics on page 48 of the thread. Take a look and if you need anything else more detailed let me know.

I looked first. I rememberd someone talking about a similar setup fairly recently. The pics you posted last nite are the only ones that show up on Tapatalk.

Took a break from working on the Rednexpedition for a few months.
Put new wheels on it last week and started on the bed, tailgate and spare tire rack.
Working on lowering the front diff this weekend.

She's definitely a unique beast lol.

My wife would probably love it, wants a truck badly.

My girl has been neglected due to adulting, being in the middle of a move, building a shop, rebuilding the wife's escape transmission, and I was stupid and added to my plate.

$800 01 F150 7700 out of Alberta, got some cancer rust, but it's identical to my parts truck that has perfect panels, just gotta break/round/grind/torch every 18 year old siezed bolt on her first. She's getting a lift, 35's, canopy, likely a grille guard and King ranch seats if I can find some then sold.

Scrounged around in my garage yesterday for scrap steel and lowered the front diff 2"1/4 to get the axles back to a normal position. Tested it out in the Mesa and all is well. I will drop the diff again to finish the welds and add more support, but for $1.50 in scrap, 3hrs of work and a prayer to the redneck gods.....I'd say I'm pleased. Now on to redesigning the upper control arms and replacing the cv boots.

This guy here was always going to be my inspiration for when the time came.

Here is my 99 expedition before and after removing the four corner air and doing torsion lift, 2in spacers, wheels and tires.

Got some junk yard black NASCAR wheels from an F150 and put some 285/70r17 BFGs on them.

I replaced the font/rear sway bar links and in the rear I drilled holes about 3 inches lower to make sway bar level with the ground and to keep it away from my trac bar.

Oh not much, just truck stuff.

Almost bigger than the trailer.

Also found another 4" lift (last one is going in the truck I'm flipping), this time rough country, going down to Everett next weekend and pulling it. $300 this time.

Expedition gets this one.

Awesome, a fellow black and tan, though I've almost stripped all the old man tan.

I really dig the sway bar idea, I've reached the stage of it being obnoxious and needed an idea.

Thinking I'll use what you did for inspiration.
