As some of you know I decided to Line-x the entire truck. I got it back last week and finally had a chance to take some pics today. It is done in Ford blue flame metallic pearl and black.

No waxing necessary and a lifetime warranty against defects and fading. Just hose it off and your good to go.

I talked to the Rhino guys about doing my whole truck. They wanted some pretty big cash and were concerned that it would add too much weight to the truck. They said that I may not be able to keep the trunk or tailgate open with the stock struts.

An issues? Do you have any idea how much weight it added. (may do this to the next truck)

WOW I love the look of bedliner on vehicles! I did the interior of my F350 and LOVED it.

That turned out REALLY REALLY well...I like the two tone blue/black.

I did the bottom half of my Explorer and loved the stuff. Felt like it was made out of armor. Looks killer. Way to go.

Looks really great, any issues with it getting in the way of the hinges?

I met a guy in Anchorage who did his Excursion all over. He said it only added about 400 lbs. Thats like having 2 of your friends with you all the time.

I never considered doing this to my 08 EL until now. That is a great way to fix the paint bubbling, and with the color I can keep the dark blue too. Thanks for the great idea!

It added about 250lbs. The stock struts still hold the gate and hood with no problem but if yours are already weak you would need to replace them.
