This is for my Lightning… A Magnum Powers blower casing and pulley bracket.
Its another step forward for my motor swap into the Expedition.

I got in on a group purchase over on one of my Lightning forum sites. Everything cost me about $1100 or $1200.

THAT whole pile of aluminum only cost 1200? Nice...

Now.. I am seeing possibly a few things missing... what are the guts to that set up going to run you?

Yes, they do! Now if I could just find someone who makes COG pulleys (nobody does anymore) then she'll really scream!!

It's a shame dblG screwed everyone over on his DM Racing venture, or the cogs would still be available. Those that have the few sets he made love them. Last I saw, bgstew on Lightning Rodder had an MP and a DMR cogged setup running 19 lbs on a stock block. That REALLY screamed!

Not too much more. I need to find an eaton from an 03/04 Cobra so I can use the rotors.

Yep. It makes me jealous. I saw BGStews truck when he was in California, it sounded pretty badass. I remember contemplating those DMR COGs, but at the time I didnt have the money. Looking back now, I shoulda gotten a loan. Hahaha

Plan is to pull the complete Lightning motor (has only 60k miles on it) out of my Lightning and drop it straight into the Expedition. The Lightning is getting a fully built motor, MP blower, and Nitrous. She's gonna scream like a banshee!

It would save you a lot of time if you just drop the fully built motor in the Expy and leave the lightning stock.

Whats the point of doing that? I dont need my Expi to keep up with my Lightning. Im never getting rid of the Lightning, so I want it built to be bullet proof! Plus as much as I love my Expedition its not worth that kind of money. Hahaha

Sleeper..Can enjoy it in all weather...can carry more passengers. Didnt say anything about keeping up with the lightning. Hell... make it faster. But that would make having your lightning more pointless.

I realize the lightning will always be faster given the same mods due to the 1000 pound weight penalty the expy has. I also love lightnings and would likely have one if I did not need more seats and 4wd. Was not seriously trying to convince you to change your plans...just having fun. This is a Expy forum..lol
