I was wondering if any fellow Canadians could point me in the right directions for these Angle Eye headlights ? Our even better.

CG® - Ford Expedition 2007-2011 Chrome Projector Headlights with LEDs, Amber Reflectors

I got a set of those for $90 on EBAY. They look cool but projectors are too small and cheap which makes light output very bad. I have installed set of HID lights so much better. I never turned on halos because it looks stupid. That price is crazy.

Were did you get yours if you dont mind me asking ? Are they the Angle Eye style ? would rather get the angle eyes that are HID. I like the halos personally. Just trying to study some different ideas. But cant find a store in Canada that might have a good selection of these projections or maybe HID.

They all come out of the same factory in China. If they look the same, they are the same. Almost all of these cheap projector headlights, regardless of what vahicle they fit, are made with cheap components and will yield about the same light output than stock or possibly even less.

My advice is do the retrofit yourself, or send them to Brian @ SickHIDs in California.

There is only one cOmpany that makes these in black or chrome. Instead of using single bulb for high and low beam on stock headlight these use two bulbs one for high and one for low beam and its different bulb then stock. they dont come with hid but that is something you can add with ballast and HID bulb. Best place to get them is EBAY. These have two rings that light up and use 194 bulbs that can be replaced with some higher wattage bulbs to have brighter output but i have them off looks cheesy :D

No, I was going to but I couldn't be without a set of headlights in the truck since I put my A4 up for storage this winter. I don't have anything bad to say about him in my few email dealings with him though. I'll be following JasonLMarsh's lead and retrofitting mine myself.

Was wondering what he charges.

Looking at his quote, it looks like his base fee for 2.5" projectors, shrouds, wiring harnesses and 55W HIDs is around 400 bucks. Then 50 for return shipping. He said he could also provide a set of factory headlights so that I wouldn't have to send mine in. But that was an extra 500-600 or something.

The whole thing IMO was very reasonable. My only problem would've been the turn around time and I get a kick out of DIY stuff.

I got an email back from Brian and this is what he said : starts at $450/pair (USD) + shipping ($50). You have to send me your "OEM" (good/fair condition) headlights (in California) to retro-fit. I can also provide Brand New OEM style 2011 Expedition headlights to build with, for $550/pair extra (chrome or black).

For me it might be hard to give up my headlights lol but might look into finding a cheaper pair for him to do.

If you haven't already, take a look at his site. His work appears to be top notch and well worth the price considering a retrofit kit by itself is 250+ from Retrofit Source.

Ok so looking at these LED lights I have come to reality and believe they are not worth the money. So I do like the work this Brian guy does but it does cost a lot of $$ and would be out my headlights for to long. Is there a way to get as good of a head light for a descent price ? and with out having to modify my headlights. I am not very good that good at this stuff and really dont want to mess with my stock ones that much.

Your ONLY options are those LED headlights or retrofit your old ones to get best light output. You other option is put hid bulbs into your stock headlights but without projectors it will be blinding oncoming traffic and I would not recommend that. Looks like you might want to deal with heads as they are.

All new Fusions have projectors standard but I believe HID's are optional. Remember projectors are one thing HID options is other.

So the option of going with one of these LCD Projector lights and replacing the bulb with HID would be the best option. I think I can handle hooking up the Hid bulbs. I would like to have the plug and play lights that bolt right in and then change the bulbs. But it seems that these projector lights are cheap that I find on line or ebay. Has anyone found good quality projector lights that are bolt right in ?
