I thought I would post some info pertaining to the lower radiator hose on our vehicles since I couldn't find much before and I recently changed mine. The radiator side of the hose on my 2010 contains a spring clip with an alignment notch/tab and the engine side contains a normal spring clamp. To change it I removed the oil filter for access to the spring clamp on the engine side and with lots of fighting because my spring clamp was facing towards the rear, I finally removed the engine side and drained the coolant. I then was able to start on the radiator side. This is accessed much easier by removing the airbox and overflow jug first. Once the airbox assembly was removed I removed the spring clip and used a pry bar to pry the hose from the radiator. Then with the new hose sitting in place I snapped the hose back on the radiator aligning the notch on the hose to the tab on the radiator, then installed a new clamp on the engine side. Then I reinstalled the airbox assembly and added coolant and removed all air from the system.

This may seem like an easy change, but it was time consuming due to the spring clamp on the engine side facing backwards. So give yourself extra time in the event you run across that.

I mostly wanted to post this because when I searched 3rd gen hoses I couldn't find what time on connection the radiator side had and what was involved in removing it.

Good luck with your project!
