Mach rear sub

I just picked up a 98 EB with the Mach audio system. The rear sub has a blown speaker. Can I just replace the 8" speaker or do I have to buy a whole new sub unit?

i had to do the same thing so i went and bought a jl-audio 8inch woofer for back there, i also had to remodify the sub base a little bit cuz it was a bit bigger then the factory one

you can buy any brand sub...be careful of mounting depth

It looks like you have to remove the whole right side panel to get the factory sub and all of its corresponding components out. Is that so? I have some ideas and I want to use the room.

i believe so...look up MPTONYT...he did work in his 2nd gen...should be the same...
