Matching the headlights to the LED fog lights

Early 3rd gen (2009) is H13 in case anybody has doubts

Just replaced mine with a $39 kit... less ground cover perceived, but way higher "light up" (reflection) from signs and lane markers...promised evenness, untrue, 4 "bright spots".

Xenon look? Yes

PS same day got pulled over picking someone up at night from an area with some party the cops were staking out -- for "no plates" (hard to see temp registration sticker - bUT it's there so got off Scot free).... NO questions or undue police attention to the LED headlamps tho

I wouldn't have thought the police would have said anything about your LED's since so many new cars come with them these days Adieu. Were you worried about that?

What's kind of funny but relevant to the discussion....over the weekend I was sitting at a redlight and up pulled a new Audi on my left side...not sure what model but it had LED headlights. As he pulled up to the light, I noticed that my low-beam pattern never changed....it was very dark out because of the cloud cover and I half-expected for his side of the road to be lit up further than mine but his lights didn't extend or otherwise change the light pattern my beams were already illuminating except a little on his left side, opposite of the right where I was sitting in my truck.

We had a bit of snow over the weekend and even covered with salt from the roads, the LEDS worked VERY well when I took my sweetheart out!

Perfectly 07! I'm VERY happy that I swapped them out. I ended up buying the two sets since I had followed the manual specs the first time before finding that it listed the wrong spec for the low beams. We live & learn, right?
