Need advice on if I can put a set of tire/rims on my 2014 would like to know for sure if I can put a 275/55/20 rim/tires on it. Currently running stock rims with 285/70/17 with no lift. Any and all advice is appreciated.
Thanks

275/55/20 was an optional wheel / tire size for 2014 Expedition. Here is 2011 and 2014 Expeditions with that wheel / tire combo. These are 20" x 8.5". If you are not using a Ford wheel you will need to confirm the backspace.

Also a possibility are these 18 inch rims with 285/65/18 tires with a -12 offset... think these will fit with out issues

Are you using the word “offset” interchangeably with backspace? What is the width of the wheels you are looking at?
I guess I was confused on the question then. Looks to be about 11 or 11.5 inches I believe. If I'm understanding it now

So there are 5 wheel dimensions to determine wheel fitment to tire and vehicle.

Diameter. Diameter of the wheel at the point the tire seals against it.

Width. Measurement of space between the points the tire seals against the front and back of the wheel.

Offset. Measurement from center point of wheel width forward (or backward) to the inside of the hub. This can be a negative number if the face of the hub is closer to the back of the wheel than the front.

Backspace. The measurement from the back outside face wheel to the inside face of the hub.

Bolt Pattern. Number of studs x distance between each stud i.e. 6x5.3 / 6x135

I’ve got the up-sized OEM swap on my ‘16 EL with no issues.
